The piece starts with identifying just what is happening in the EdTech space? As you probably know, there has never been a more exciting time to integrate technology into your curriculum. There are so many great ideas and impactful tools out there! We cover some of those developments.

What does the use of technology in the classroom look like? The next section of the book give you concrete ideas for how technology benefits instruction, strategies based on real-world skills, and some ideas for projects and activities that can help engage and enrich the experience for your students.

Some teachers are worried about technology taking over their classrooms. There are specific roles technology can play in classrooms, as well as specific challenges that digital learning can help solve in a language curriculum. The teacher can still have as big a role in the classroom as they would like.

Finally, we discuss how our comprehensive and state-of-the-art solutions specifically integrate with existing classroom structures and curricula. Students can work at their own pace and receive practice in skills that are hard to address in an in-person classroom. For instance, students can receive much more speaking practice through blended learning than they can when having to share the teacher’s time with 25 other classmates.

We believe this new asset is a valuable, informative product that can help even the most technology-adverse teacher start adopting classroom technology that can revolutionize his or her practice and truly impact the educational outcomes of students.
