I am learning Japanese!

In the beginning of 2011, I made a new years resolution to learn japanese. I want to learn japanese because I want to learn about their culture. I also want to go to Japan one day.

I told my parents the idea but they told me that japanese is too difficult. “Why don’t you learn spanish?” my mom said. “It’s easier than japanese.” They thought I can not learn any foreign language beacause I am the only one who is monolingual in a bilingual family. With all my savings I collected last year, I decided to purchase Japanese Levels 1-3 to get started.

The program was easier than I expected it to be. I got hooked after the first lesson. The lessons were very engaging and interesting. I had a great time with the studio coaches in Rosetta Stone studio sessions. The studio coaches were patient and kind. Playing games on Rosetta World were fun. I love reading the stories in japanese, After months of studying japanese in Rosetta Stone and playing games in rosetta world, I became comfortable speaking japanese. Even though I am not fluent in the languge, I know that I will be confident of talking to japanese natives.

Thank You Rosetta Stone!
