International Commercials: United Kingdom Ads Speak to Japan

So far in the Rosetta Stone blog series on international commercials, we’ve featured two Korean ads. This time, we’d like to share a commercial running in the United Kingdom.

In this commercial, a man speaks Japanese in a traditional teahouse atmosphere. His surroundings break away to reveal that he’s really at home in his English apartment—still speaking Japanese.

The man and his wife marvel at the immersive environment of Version 4 TOTALe. In fact, as they go through the program together, the image of the Japanese teahouse rebuilds around them.

Tell us, what does immersion mean to you?
