Rosetta Stone Celebrates Language in London

On October 21–23 in London, Rosetta Stone’s UK office participated in The Language Show Live 2011, an event for language enthusiasts of all kinds and at all levels—language learners, language teachers, job seekers, and those passionate about travel and culture.

The show was a wonderful success! The great lineup of seminars included “Fighting Crime with Languages,” presented by London’s Metropolitan Police Service (MPS), one of Rosetta Stone’s institutional clients. This insightful presentation shed light on how knowledge of languages is an important tool in fighting crime and communicating in critical situations. The talk also covered the transformation of language support services within the MPS and highlighted the integration of the Rosetta Stone solution into the organization’s language training. Rosetta Stone products are blended into MPS classroom study, and employees use them for self-study at home.

Below you can see images of our booth set up at The Language Show and some of our team members from the UK. Although the majority of visitors knew about Rosetta Stone products, they were keen to hear more about our methodology and try our demo. Thanks to everyone who made that weekend possible. We loved being a part of such a special event about the importance of languages and cross-cultural communication.
